Bound in dark green leatherette with gilt borders and central medallions to boards, gilt lettering to spines, and decorative endpapers. Illustrated throughout, including a frontispiece portrait of Dickens. Condition: Bindings generally sound with a small split to the lower spine joint on one volume (visible in photographs). Pages clean and complete. Gilt remains bright; light shelf wear with fading of text on the spine on both books and a Spine crack on one of the books (as per picture).
