Made in England at the original Dr. Martens Cobbs Lane factory, this is a durable shoe steeped in heritage, tradition and craftsmanship. British Millerain, a Lancashire-based textiles company in operation for more than 100 years, is one of the world's leading specialist in waxed cotton fabrics. This shoe is made with Lickwax, a heritage cloth by Millerain with a subtle waxed finish and a traditional camouflage pattern. The uppers of this shoes are made from 100% cotton in a durable and classic British twill weave which has been waxed for weather-proofing. The shoe has a smooth leather lining for comfort and it sits upon an AirWair air-cushioned sole provides shock-absorption and bounce, as well as resistance from oil, fat, acid, petrol and alkali.
