ALL THE LIVING – A NOVEL – C. E. MORGAN

All the Living, C. E. Morgan's acclaimed debut novel, published in the UK by Fourth Estate / HarperCollins in 2010.

Aloma leaves behind her dreams of becoming a pianist to move with her lover Orren to his family's isolated tobacco farm in Kentucky. Orren is struggling to keep the farm alive after the death of his family, while Aloma finds herself increasingly isolated in a life she never imagined for herself.

When she begins playing the piano at a local church, she meets Bell, a young preacher, and is forced to confront difficult questions about love, freedom, commitment and the future she wants for herself.

A beautifully written and atmospheric work of literary fiction, set against the landscape of rural Kentucky. The novel explores grief, loneliness, desire and the tension between the life we choose and the life we are given.

Si tratta della moneta da 1$ celebrativa rilasciata in edizione limitata a Maggio 2026.
Quest'anno dedicata a Steve Jobs
Il sito della zecca americana riporta:
The California American Innovation $1 Coin reverse (tails) design presents a young Steve Jobs sitting in front of a quintessentially northern California landscape of oak-covered rolling hills. Captured in a moment of reflection, his posture and expression reflect how this environment inspired his vision to transform complex technology into something as intuitive and organic as nature itself. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “CALIFORNIA.” Additional inscriptions are “STEVE JOBS” and “MAKE SOMETHING WONDERFUL.”

The obverse (heads) design features a dramatic representation of the Statue of Liberty in profile with the inscriptions “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “$1.” The design also includes a privy mark of a stylized gear, representing industry and innovation. In 2026, the privy mark will also incorporate a Liberty Bell with the inscription “250” to commemorate the semiquincentennial of our Nation’s founding.

La spedizione contiene una (1) singola moneta.

Oggetto nuovo con cartellino o confezione originale mai utilizzato e senza difetti.

Moneta da 1$ - Steve Jobs

"When We Were Very Young" by A.A. Milne. It is a collection of illustrated rhyming stories, featuring the original illustrations by E.H. Shepard, and marks the first appearance of Winnie the Pooh in the story "Teddy Bear." This is the 26th edition overall and the second printing of the cheaper edition (1934).

The book is in good condition. Fading on the spine, inside there are some signs of age and wear and some foxing, but the book remains perfectly readable and the illustrations are clean. Inscriptions on the first blank pages (see photo).
