Whimsical celestial tree ornament handcrafted in glossy white and cobalt porcelain with hand-painted gold stars. New old stock, never displayed, with factory stamp and original box. Bring storybook magic to your tree with this hand-painted porcelain crescent moon ornament. The sculpted “Magic Moon” face is finished in deep cobalt blue with gold stars and gilded accents on glossy white porcelain. A gold-tone metal loop makes it ready to hang on a Christmas tree or display year-round. Made by Lefortovo Porcelain in Moscow in the tradition of classic USSR porcelain, the piece was shaped, glazed, and painted by hand. Multiple firings set the glaze, overglaze decoration, and gilding for a luminous finish and vivid color. Small brushwork variations reflect its handcrafted character. This collectible man-in-the-moon ornament complements vintage Christmas displays, blue and gold holiday themes, fairy-tale decor, and curated porcelain collections. It also works as a small decorative figurine after the holidays. This new old stock piece has never been displayed and has no chips, cracks, fading, or loss to the gold decoration. The factory stamp and original factory box are included, and the box is in excellent condition. Approximate height is 9.5 cm.
