Anatolian kilim ( made in Turkey). Part of my family collection, bought from an antiques shop in Florence 20 years ago. Size: 3 m X 1,20 Preserved in a camphor chest, ready to enjoy. As you can see, the center features a seam that joins two pieces. The looms used were too small, so they were woven one piece at a time and then joined together. Thecarpet is not exactly square…the beauty of handcrafted things!
