Binal 2 is an ear-type binaural microphone that combines user convenience with high-quality sound. While maintaining the acoustic properties of ear-shaped silicone, the material is sturdy and resistant to deformation, making it easy to clean inside the ear. Microphone capsule Binal 2 is equipped with two EM272 omnidirectional microphone capsules from Primo, a high-end Japanese microphone manufacturer. These capsules have an excellent signal-to-noise ratio of 80 dB at 1 dB, keeping noise levels low. They also offer a flat frequency response across the human audible range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Inside Binal 2, we use innovative technology to keep unwanted vibration noise transmitted through the desktop stand or microphone pole from interfering with the microphone. The microphone capsule is attached to the device using a "shock mount," which isolates it from impacts from a microphone stand or boom pole, but allows only the "touch sound" from the silicone ears to be picked up.
