Security footage from inside a store shows a worker pushing a heavily loaded cart filled with various plants. He approaches a downward escalator designed to allow carts to be rolled between floors. As he starts guiding the cart onto the moving escalator, the weight of the load quickly becomes apparent. The cart begins to gain speed as the escalator carries it downward, and the worker struggles to keep control while holding onto the handle. Within seconds, the momentum becomes too much for him to manage. The cart accelerates down the escalator, pulling him along behind it. At the bottom, the cart continues forward and crashes near the store entrance. A person walking into the store narrowly avoids the runaway cart by quickly jumping out of the way.
