Bike purchased directly by me from Giacinto Santambrogio, fourth at the 1974 Montreal World Championships — first among the Italians — with a palmares that includes stages of the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia. Fully restored in 2013 in preparation for L’Eroica, it has remained unused since the restoration and is offered to passionate connoisseurs. Frame built by SOMEC of Lugo di Romagna with Columbus NX tubing and a seat tube length of 58 cm.; decals redone (new); Campagnolo Super Record groupset; Campagnolo Victory Strada rims (new) with Victoria Rally para/black tyres (new); 3ttt Competizione handlebar wrapped in black leather; Campagnolo cables and housing (new); Campagnolo pedals with titanium axle, aluminium cage and Campagnolo toe straps; Royal Prestige saddle; Regina CX chain (new); with triple chainring 42/50/53 teeth; with two sprocket cassettes of 14/24 and 15/28 teeth; pump, water bottle and bottle cage. Also available: wool shorts and Australian Merino wool jersey by Soigneur, size 52 (new), for Eroica.
