Extremely rare set consisting of: * 2 original sketches, signed by Tadao Ando on paper, approximately A5 size, created during the exhibition “Tadao Ando: Endeavors” at The National Art Center, Tokyo, in 2017. * Original exhibition ticket for “Tadao Ando: Endeavors” (Tokyo, September 27 – December 18, 2017), included in the lot, documenting the provenance of the works and supporting their collectible authenticity. Ideal for architecture collectors, design enthusiasts, and investors interested in original works on paper signed by one of the world’s most celebrated Japanese architects. Details * Sketch 1: Probably depicting the Church of the Light, one of Tadao Ando’s most iconic projects, executed in freehand with an original blue signature. * Sketch 2: Architectural volumetric study of a residential project, also hand-signed by Ando. * Both drawings are mounted on neutral archival-quality board for preservation. * Original “Tadao Ando: Endeavors” exhibition ticket included as provenance documentation. The drawings were acquired on the occasion of the Japanese exhibition. Condition Excellent / pristine condition. The original sketches have never been framed.
