A differenza dell'album originale che aveva 10 tracce, la colonna sonora del 1988 è una raccolta estesa di 21 brani, che funge da retrospettiva musicale della vita di Lennon.
Copertina: La copertina di questa specifica edizione presenta spesso un'immagine diversa rispetto all'iconica foto a colori di Lennon che sfuma tra le nuvole dell'album originale del 1971.
