Laconi is a fascinating village in the center of the Sardinia Island, featuring nature and archaeology, traditions, festivities and extraordinary devotion. It is a 'gem' with two thousand inhabitants, nestled in a forest, next to the Sarcidano hills, which boasts the Bandiera Arancione (Orange Flag) of the Italian Touring Club.
In its historic center, a charming noble house built in the 17th century is for sale.
It is a two-storey house, 180 square meters, overlooking an internal courtyard (shared with other houses) where a small outbuilding is also a part of the estate.
The main structure of this historic residence is in good condition, being the interiors in need of care and loving restoration (hand painted walls and ceilings on the upper floor). Time has stood still, in fact, since the summers of many years ago, when a large, close-knit family gathered here to spend moments of happiness and carefree relaxation. Its walls tell centuries of history, its paintings speak of the austere ancestors who lived there, and the rooms still echo with hunting adventures, tales of women and ghosts, and children's laughter.

It's the home of my grandparents and of my carefree childhood, and I'd love to see it revived today with the light and sounds of those days... that's why it's up for sale at a symbolic price, with the hope that whoever decides to buy it will love and respect its history, its solid roots, and its distinctive personality, preserving its unique architectural features.
