IMPORTANT: C1-LEVEL ENGLISH AND A VALID B DRIVING LICENCE ARE ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS. I am looking for a reliable, trustworthy, discreet and empathetic person for a FULL-TIME, long-term position in Verona. This is a personal assistant / driver / personal support role for a person with reduced mobility. The job is to provide comprehensive practical assistance with everyday life. Duties include driving, grocery shopping and purchasing everyday necessities, cigarettes and other requested items, collecting and delivering parcels, returns, couriers and services, pharmacies and shops, accompanying me to appointments and therapy, taking care of the car, helping with practical projects and furniture, and generally handling practical tasks that I cannot easily manage myself. I am looking for someone proactive, resourceful and independent, who can take initiative, solve problems and get things done without needing detailed instructions for every task. HIGH AVAILABILITY AND FLEXIBILITY ARE FUNDAMENTAL. In principle, I need someone available across different times of the day and, when necessary, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays and at short notice. This is 24/7 availability in principle, not 24/7 continuous work. There will be regular working hours and days off, but the timing of work can vary according to my needs. This position is not suitable for someone looking for a strictly fixed schedule or whose regular commitments prevent substantial flexibility. A humane, empathetic and respectful approach is essential. The person being assisted has reduced mobility, so patience, dignity, discretion and genuine consideration are very important. This is not a housekeeping or cleaning position. Regular housekeeping and cooking are handled separately. All nationalities and genders welcome.
