English Teacher Wanted - Sicily (Cambridge Courses) We are a friendly, growing language school based in the centre of Biancavilla, at the foot of Mount Etna and just 40 minutes from the sea and Catania. We are looking for one motivated English teacher to join our team for the September-June school year (with the possibility to continue the following year). The role Teaching Cambridge exam classes (Starters to CAE) Students: kids (6+), teens, and adults Small groups (usually max 10 students) Some 1:1 lessons 20 teaching hours/week (+ preparation & corrections) Schedule: Monday-Friday Afternoon/evening hours (approx. 15:30-20:00 with a break) Requirements EU citizen or valid work permit Experience teaching Cambridge exams (minimum 2 years preferred) CELTA or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory) Native or near-native level English Commitment to stay for the full academic year (sept-June) Basic Italian is a plus, but not essential What we offer A supportive, friendly, small-team environment Motivated students and pleasant classroom atmosphere Help finding accommodation + initial support for the first month The chance to live in sunny Sicily, close to nature, the sea, and a vibrant city Location Biancavilla is a small Sicilian town with a local community feel.
